Books for kids about Juneteenth

Juneteeth just became one of only 12 Federal Holidays. One of those Holidays (Inauguration Day) only comes around once every 4 years.

As many of you experience this holiday for the very first time this weekend and do not have to report to work tomorrow. I encourage you not to take this as a Day Off, but as a Day together. A day to truly begin to Unite our States by learning more of what our education system has systematically left out.
