How do you motivate yourself daily? Mantras have become a large part of my daily practice. I usually couple them with periods of deep breathing. It helps. It keeps me centered. It brings me back to what is important during moments when I feel like I am not being or doing enough.
Not enoughness is a common feeling for educators. The concept of lack is embedded in what we do. Not enough time, not enough supplies, not enough resources, not enough support.. not enough. Not enough. not enough.
But, We are enough.
I am enough.
You are enough.
We need to believe it.
