A note before you read further.
Your seat is held in your name.November 1, 2026
Six people will share this room, and each of you has already done work that matters. You will help one another see that work more clearly, and you will carry it further together than you could alone. For four weeks, you will not be doing this by yourself.
I'm in Drag the ticket to turn it over.An invitation for six established leaders, beginning Sunday, November 1, 2026.
You have already done the work. Let's prepare it for what comes next.
The Institutional Pitch Lab is a four-week experience for six leaders who are ready to bring an existing body of work to real 2027 opportunities. We begin on November 1 because some of the strongest calls close on November 13 and November 20.
Six places are available, and enrollment is $1,500.
Next year's stages and partnerships are being decided this autumn.
Conference committees, festival curators, and institutional partners are reviewing proposals for 2027 right now. The people they choose are rarely the ones with the newest idea. They are the ones whose proven work arrives clearly framed, well matched, and on time.
We are starting November 1 because some of the strongest-fit opportunities close as early as November 13 and November 20. If you want to be considered for those, preparation has to begin now.
This Lab is for people whose work already exists.
You are a senior leader, educator, founder, expert, or creator who has already built something meaningful, and you are ready to bring it into a larger room.
You will feel at home here if this sounds like you.
- You have executed a real body of work, such as a program, a published project, a tested framework, original research, or a completed creative project.
- You can point to evidence that it works, whether that is outcomes, testimonials, adoption, or measurable results.
- You are ready to move quickly, and you can share your materials, bio, and documentation on time.
This Lab is not designed for every stage.
- It is not a beginner course for finding an idea or building a first business.
- It does not promise acceptance, paid speaking, or placement, because organizers make their own decisions.
- It is not a done-for-you service, so your voice, your approvals, and your submissions remain your own.
Four weeks, built around real closing dates.
We meet live on four Mondays for ninety-minute working sessions, and the session time will be confirmed before November 1. Each week ends with a clear milestone that is timed to the calls our participants are pursuing.
November 2026
- 01
Week one: choose the right opportunity.
Together we weigh eligibility, audience, evidence, cost, and fit, and you finish the week with a primary opportunity and a backup.
- 02
Week two: adapt the work.
You sharpen your proposition and draft your abstract, outcomes, bio, and evidence. Material for the November 13 call is ready by November 12.
- 03
Week three: refine and submit.
Peer review and editorial feedback strengthen your proposal, and submissions for the November 20 calls are ready by November 19.
- 04
Week four: extend your reach.
We hold final pitch reviews and adapt your work for other destinations, so your kit is ready for the November 30 calls when the Lab ends.
If you are aiming for a November 13 or November 20 deadline, you will work on an accelerated track from the first day. That track works best when your material is already well developed, and we will tell you honestly if a later window suits you better.
You will leave with one complete proposal and a plan for what comes next.

Six places are available for the November cohort.
The Lab runs from Sunday, November 1 through Saturday, November 28, 2026, with live sessions on November 2, 9, 16, and 23.
I'm inHere is what your enrollment includes.
- You will join four live, ninety-minute working sessions with no more than six participants.
- You will use a clear framework for choosing opportunities by fit, eligibility, influence, and feasibility.
- You will build one focused pitch around your audience, purpose, proof, and contribution.
- You will receive one individual review of your main proposal.
- You will get peer feedback, checklists, and reusable proposal templates.
- You will leave with a simple pipeline for opportunities beyond your first submission.
The Lab focuses on one central piece of work and one primary proposal for each participant. Travel, conference fees, and ghostwriting are not included, and acceptance is never guaranteed.
Questions you may be asking.
Will my proposal be accepted?
Is this right for me if my work is still an idea?
Is a November 13 deadline realistic for me?
What if my best fit does not have an open call?
Will there be travel or participation costs?
Will you write my proposal for me?
When do the sessions meet?
Your work is ready, and the windows are open.
If you have built something that deserves a larger room, we would love to welcome you as one of the six.
Enrollment is $1,500, and the Lab begins on November 1.
